I actually used old school lead based one shot. Yes, distressing means beating the shit out of them then adding a little real rust to them.

I love your gocco stuff. Apparently they are going to stop making them (Print Gocco) again. Which kinda sucks cause I've never had the chance to try one. Where do you get the bulbs for that thing?
