The names "Snake Bit" and "Kritzer Blitzer" are both real B-29 bomber names.

Still setting in the garage waiting to be finished, what a pain in the ass that shit is. From now on I will be sticking with plastic for the most part.

Yup nice one. I caught a buff a year ago from Minot with the name Snake Bite on. I am a big big fan of the buff, I got a book on em with all of the bombers produced with there nicknames. Some great sounding names

I am bit of a geek when it comes to Aircraft. So seeing these I instantly recognised the inspiration.Bet Rob Schwagger will like these.

The art on aircraft is killer. The RAF here have banned it. Like some crews in the states, aircrew/staff have resorted to painting images on internal panels such as step ladder openings. Totally Ghey. Its all part of morale for crews. Its pretty ridiculous banning it from bombers, as the size of em is pretty miniscule and wont compromise the camo. I spoke to a couple of crew members from Mint who still use wax sticks to do the art. Now that is old school !

Did you see how Kozik weathered his pieces. Pretty cool technique of Oil pastels brushed on. Looks really effective. Post em up again when they are done, i'd be interested.

I will, I'm going to use some real rust that I've made with a battery charger and some iron rods to rust them up real good.

Now thats dedication. We picked up a RAF tornado tail piece the other month, it is light as anything, made from carbon fibre. The piece/part is still in desert rat Scheme. It now sits in our studio, great conversation piece when anybody drops by.
