I'm getting a lot better at limiting my color choice and keeping it simple.



The colors on this aren't final. I'll probably add some of the gray into the whale. As of now there are only 4 seps. To be printed on silver paper. This will also be a t-shirt soon (I'm gonna edit it more so the whale is jumping out of the bottom of the shirt).

Try it without gradients, The clean lines of the sun and sun burts clash with the whale illo.

Alright. I might just use triangles. Those are like, inverted arrows. Last night I just positioned them all correctly so I could get a feel for its size and shit. And the whale definetely needs some more color.

Justin said exactly what I was thinking.

If you add a huge splash where the whale is breaching it may help the dynamic of the piece too.

Hahahahaha alright thanks guys. I agree with the breach. It's a kind of cliche image (same with the whale) but I just wanted to do something... w/out caring if it had been done before.

So you're saying just hand draw the sunrays? I'm probably going to end up hand cutting them, but that could be a real bitch since all those bubbles have to be white.
