I don't think it needs the outline and the lettering outline weight is too heavy, unless you shaded it like the leaves...

Good points. It was scanned in pieces and put together. so, the scale is off a bit from the skull/cross and the shield in the back. The text is being redone by them.

Everything about this is top notch, EXCEPT the skulls. While I don't draw skulls and I know that's your personal style, I think the one with the hat on would look better w/out the hat on, or with maybe a less cartoonish hat on. I think the design would look great with more traditional skulls that have cracks in them. Sort of how angryblue draws them. Just my $0.02
