it's been on the backburner for the past week or so. had to get through redoing a couple of the images up there for the small print book and a few work things sprung up. i'm back on it tomorrow though. going to try to do one every couple days to stay motivated. i think texas is next since i have a couple sketches for it.

well, I have Kansas and Missouri done. Was thinking of doing OK and AR soon and then putting them all together and making the FOUR STATEZ!

Some crazy cat bought it later on, even though some kid had tagged it and I'd written underneath "Nice tag, dickface."

Drozd and Gauky's wall pieces were much better but I don't have pics, sadly...

Well, that one doesnt have a background so it makes it go faster. No underpainting either since the wood isnt primed.

are you going to need to varnish that heavily to stop the paint from falling off?
I would think the raw wood would suck the oil up.

Clear gesso as a base.
Varnish later on top, gotta let it dry really well first.
