cool idea. led me to do a google search for a map. interestingly the first site that pops up when you do a google image search for "us map" is from a chinese site. can't wait to see what you do with texas. (all i can ever think of texas as is texas.)

i'm going to venture and say that i think it was a good choice to make the eye slightly off center as well, manily because the overlapping arm goes off to the left and the eye slightly to right balances that.
