I'll be around the Fringe at some point this weekend for sure... I'll be sure to have a copy on hand for you... we're sure to run into each other at some point.

Is that show the 28th of this month? Damn... I'll be in Edmonton if so. I'd love to catch that if I were in town.

to be honest, those trees being a halftoned photo is really disjointing to me. doesnt really click together me thinks. i mean, the bears and the sun do because theyre drawn and are simple, but that method of doing the trees with someones photo just seems like an easy way out. its a strong layout, id just say you should look at this like a first draft.

thanks for the crit dd, but those are my trees. i took the photo while snowboarding. it will all be explained in the process thread.

i think the only other thing i'm gonna do is knock out the white with the paintbrush in illustrator
behind the trees so the paper shows through.

those trees remind me of the backside of Stevens? Honestly, i like this print with just the trees and snow, and then i would add a single fresh track weaving in a out of the trees.

exactly. stevens pass, backside fresh track spring day.

my concern with making it specifically "snowboarding oriented" is that it would only
appeal to that population. i wanted a little more of a story to it.

maybe i will add a hidden single track in there. thanks for suggestions!

and apparently i'm ripping off dan maccarthy to some people. jeesh.
