    Default GP Poster #1 Group Announcement

    Hey Everyone,

    In a very short time, we have received 16 proposals for Poster #1 of the Gigposters.com / Diesel Fuel Prints Collectible Art Series.

    Andy and I had to make the decision promptly, to give the designers time to create the art .. in order to have the posters ready for Flatstock 3.

    .. and let me tell you .. it was NOT easy. Every single one of the proposals sounded amazing. AND .. the groups were all filled with talented poster designers.

    BUT - we could only pick one. So.. based on the proposed subject matter, and group dynamics .. we have now chosen the group for Poster 1.

    DESIGNERS:

    Jeff Gaither

    Art Chantry

    Dusty Summers

    Jay Ryan

    The subject matter will remain a secret until the poster is finished.

    Poster 1 will be available Late August, 2003... and will be available for sale at Flatstock 3 in Seattle.

    WOW! Doesnt look like any of these other fellas are online... so on behalf of myself, art, j, and gaither: Clay, Andy thanks! cant wait to get started on this thing, and cant wait to see how this poster series progresses.

    also, can you change it to The Heads of State, im never alone.

    If I am correct we are keeping all proposals from #1 for consideration of future posters in the series.

    Change it .. no. I thought I made it clear on the submission guidelines that the designers would not be working with people they normally work with. This means that it you will be doing your section as an individual artist .. and not the Heads of State.

    If there is a problem with this .. let me know ASAP, and we will choose another group.
