just got my promo-cards in the mail. i'll start getting them out today. the cards look great but........ they get quickly lost in the coffee haus and indie bookstores amongst a sea of crappy flyers for newageyogaloseweightworkfromhomeness. and i can get us prime real estate in the local indie record shops but......... kinda a sad story there.

so, any money in the budget for a promo poster for a book on promo posters ? clay ???

The publisher pays for all this stuff - so I'll ask if there are any plans for promo posters etc.

As soon as the budget allows I'll be ordering up a couple of these.

This is such a cool gift to give someone who wants to jumpstart a poster collection . . . or just place nonchalantly on their coffee table to impress members of the opposite sex.

I don't get this...

Can't this group of people, and especially the ones that are in this book, not come up with some of their own guerilla marketing?

bloody hell guys, isn't this what you do for a living/career?

Where the fuck are the flyers and promo shit that you designed for this book?

EDIT... this is not referring to Clay but to the artists that are in the book

After all the tubes, the UPS man was confused to drop a box. Good job Clay. How many in the first printing?
