The books have to be shipped to me FROM the USA, and there is also duty. That is why all books cost more in Canada then the USA.

That's kinda what I thought, so someone else'll ship them to the USA and the ones bound for Canada will be shipped to you? anyways, I'll probably grab one just curious about the price difference since you live relatively close to me.

Yes. Exactly. I have a shipper in Los Angeles who will be shipping to all USA and international orders. Canadian orders will ship from me. (it was the cheapest way for all)
