I would be down...the idea of having each 2 page spread designed by a seperate designer would be awesome. color would be primo, but then again, like you said the price would probably scare too many people away. would the page spread be a showcase of your posters or an original design for the spread...I think an original design for the spread would be better since it is in black and white and many of the posters on this site would be better suited in color. but thats just a suggestion. sounds aweome Clay, count me in if it goes down!

Maybe having multi-handbills appoach could reduce costs by screen printing. Also makes easy access to recipes by allowing each card to be removed.Easier than a huge cookbook on the counter.

This sounds great. 50 designers would mean at least 50 recipes of goodness.

Maybe a stupid question, but what would the audience be for this? I can see the appeal of the playing cards, they look cool and make great gifts. The coloring book too, fun for the kids and adults too. But what would make anyone outside our little community want to purchase a cook book by poster artists?

I'm down.

I like the handbill/cards idea.

Screen Printed.

After all this is a GIG POSTER site.. the recipes should be designed like so!!

i'm in for some cornbread recipes. and guacamole. and tomato soup.
i would suggest going smaller than 8.5 x 11. i don't like giant cookbooks.

Well - at least at lulu, from what I can tell - its the same price for a 6x9 as a 8.5 x 11 (so I figured everyone could fit more 'stuff' in at the same price. It might be different if someone else has any ideas on a different place to get them printed.
