Classified Ads System - Important Information For Users

Recently PayPal has changed the code on their site, and is switching over to a new interface.

This has caused major problems with the automatic IPN system.

Normally, with the old IPN system - when people purchased classified ad credits - they were instantly added to the classified ads system on GigPosters.com as long as it was not an eCheck etc.

Currently - it seems most users are having problems and the credits are not being added automatically.

I have done a bunch of research into this issue and have found that we are not alone. Every IPN system is experiencing this same issue. Sites all over the internet that offer similar services are dealing with the same problems.

So - I will continue to find a fix for this and work with PayPal directly on the issue. Hopefully, I can come up with a fix soon.

In the meantime, if you purchase classified ad credits, and they are not added to your account automatically, please email help@gigposters.com and include your paypal email address and I can manually add the credits to your account.

Sorry for the inconvenience - I'll do my best to have this resolved as soon as I can.

thanks for all your hard work clay, what a silly thing for paypal to do, and not document how to fix it for all the ipn sites out there. shooting themselves in the foot again.
