SDCC is really expensive,and logistically difficult, but for me the costs are OK because the junk I sell does really well there. Last year I sold about 35 K worth of merch in 4 days.

I also just like it, theres so much shit..5000 booths. San Diego is a nice town.

I believe if your an artist you can get a smaller 'signing table' type of booth for far less than the 1800.00

bottom line is something like 50-60 thousand people a day cruise through there..and, all the 'industry' people are there so its really good for making connections.

It looks like they have a Comic Con Table for 850.00 or a Press Table for 350.00.
That sounds a bit better for the little people.

You need a sales license too in CA. You can't sell stuff at a Press Table, so that won't work. $850 is a lot for a table without a back. I'm not sure how you guys would display posters unless you just had them laying on the table..
