New Features

3 new features:

USER COMMENTS - finally, they are back. You can now click on a person's comment count in the forums (on the right side of a post) .. and view the user's comments. This was a feature before we switched to new forum software, and I finally got around to coding it in.


SEARCH BY VENUE - top right of every page - choose Venues, enter a venue name, and view the posters for that venue.

(** venue names will appear as they were typed in by the submitter - so, YES - there will be many variations etc, and I don't plan on cleaning this up at this time. Perhaps in the future. Please DO NOT email me letting me know about multiple spellings of venue names.)


SEARCH BY CITY - top right of every page - choose City, enter a city name, and view posters for a specific city.

yay Clay, but..............

i tried out just some random city searches and got some weird matches.

like when searching for New York, it came back with Barcelona, Vancouver, Greensboro, and Syracuse. no NY.

when i searched for Chicago, it came back with Austin, Chicago, and Canyon County.

when i searched for Fort Worth and Ft. Worth, no results, even though several posters on the site, mainly from Dirk Fowler, were for shows here.

i also noticed that in the individual poster pages, that the city doesn't link to anything, like the city search results do. is this in the future, or should it be doing that now?

Oops .. my bad. It was working and I messed it up. Its fixed now.

I'm not sure if I will link the city in .. perhaps.

Awesome. Not only is that really cool, but it'll also get certain folks that think the venue search is a much needed application to shut up. Just sayin'.
