Gigposters.com Is Moving Once More

Hi Everyone,

Gigposters.com will be moving to a new server sometime in the next week or so. There will definitely be some downtime, but I'm not sure how long. I will do my best to make the transition smooth.

Why? Well, as many of you know, I have been running a hosting company for the past 4 years, and I have recently decided to stop hosting. More info can be found here:

Gigposters.com is currently on an un-managed dedicated server (which many of you kind supporters helped me purchase). The new server that GP is moving to is fully managed, meaning - monitoring, upgrades, security and backups are all taken care of.

This equates to saving me a ton of work and headaches, and I can focus 100% on Gigposters.com and other projects of my own. All technical issues will be taken care of. I will finally be able to tackle the 'suggestions' forum and make some stuff happen for you guys!

**NOTE: to avoid any confusion, current Square Peg Hosting clients are not affected by this. Gigposters.com is on a different server than the hosting servers.**

If anyone has any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Advertisers - if there is more than a day of downtime, I will be extending your accounts to make up for it.

I will make another announcement as soon as I have more information.

This server costs just a little more than the last .. but not much more. ($340 / month) ($4080 / year)

I'm not looking for donations .. but merch purchases would certainly help out as always. Poster #4 is available .. and I've only sold 1 so far. Whats up with that? Its killer..
