also, as an aside, sometimes i'm seeing the quick reply buttons all in a nice neat row, and sometimes they are stacked on 5 lines like this:

Yeah - me too. It is supposedly a bug that should be fixed in the next version.

default text, no formatting.

when i preview this, the first and last line of this post appear at their correct normal size (size 2).

i think it has to do with my sig... i just went back and looked at a post of mine from 2004 and it was small like this, too

Can you try saving your sig code, and removing it. Lets see if that fixes you up. (try posting with no signature)
