Default Looking for Color Separation Help

This may seem a bit odd and well... pointless, but I figured I'd throw it out there in hopes of minor ridicule, but really who am I kidding, let the onslaught begin!

But all things serious, I am finally getting ready to start my way into doing actual screen prints of my posters, but I am totally unsure how to do proper color separations. I get the general understanding of it from various tutorials and forums, but what I really need is a visual representation to really get it. I mean, I'm so used to things being pixel precise that I am not even sure what the separations would look like for print (smooth lines, jagged, overlays, etc). Also, I realize my stuff is super color heavy and a compromise of trying to get them down to a 2-4 color screen print effects things as well, so I'd like to see that in play too.

With that said, if I gave one of my PSD files for reference, would someone on here want to do a color separation of it for me so I could see exactly what my files should look like when I'm done and ready to print?

If you are remotely interested, please let me know and I could trade out for digital advice or digital prints, etc. for the help. Sadly I don't know of anyone locally here in Little Rock who knows the details, so I figured I'd ask you guys.

Thanks for the time.

Let the ridicule begin, ha.
