Default How do I number printing 2 up of 2 variants

Hopefully this doesn't open up a can of shitstorm... I've been reading up on numbering editions here and have found alot of answers to questions I had and even questions I now realize I should have had.

But I have a kind of specific situation:

I've got a poster I want to print 2up x 50. But the funky part is I want to print 2 versions of the same poster at the same time. They use the same colors - kind of like a reverse of eachother.

How would I number that?
I was thinking I could do the dark ones 1/50 v1.
And the light ones 1/50 v2.
But that doesn't tell you they were on the same run. Or does that matter?
I usually don't get this anal over this stuff, but it seems like this is an important thing to people and I'd rather not piss off the collectors (cuz I have so many ) Nah, I just wanna know anybodies thoughts on this.
