Jeremy, Beth... from what I have received isn't it at Dundas Square this year??? that could be potentially super high traffic...

The poster show will be at our downtown conference headquarters on the 12th. And yes, there will a bar just a few steps away from the show!
The tradefloor is open to the public and in one room will be our MusicExpo - a more typical trade show style event - and in the other will be our registration area, a bar, some lounge-y spaces, an acoustic stage and the poster show'll be right in the center on prime real estate. No back corners this year! Keep in mind this year there's been a lot of string pulling for the show to land itself on prime real estate, so we really need to show that the community is interested in participating. So invite a friend and let's show everyone that this deserves to be even bigger and better in future years!
As for Dundas Square, we can't conduct the poster show there. Would it be ideal to have it there? Sure, but the cost would be prohibitive. But will the poster show have a presence at Dundas Square? That's what we've been working on for a while now. We anticipate it'll pan out and this is one of the reasons we're hoping for, and asking that, each poster artist design an NXNE '08 poster. That way we can display them at Dundas Square as well as another piece of artists work. There will be a lot of movement and activity in the square and we'd love to have everyone's work and name right there for everyone to see!
