You want to get all the emulsion off, but it's common to see a stain. Screens never go back completely to their original color. As long as you can hold the reclaimed screen up to the light and see through it everywhere then you probably are allright. Underexposed screens leave more of an emulsion stain than properly exposed or overexposed screens.
