Yeah, but those black cartridges will last you over a year. I had the 2200, cost about $180 a month in ink, the 3000 costs me $180 a year and it runs all day long.
Uhh, and make 100% sure you purge the lines before you install that aftermarket ink. If the epson and aftermarket ink mix, they can solidify in the lines and destroy the print head.
