With my second child on the way (it's a boy) I wanted to do some children's illustration type art. I love monsters and so do little boys, so i decided to do three sets of monsters, each focusing on a different set of shapes and colors.
First the primary colors with the "primary" monsters, and primary shapes (i figured circles (ovals), squares (rectangles), and triangles were probably the most common.)
Next the secondary colors with the second teir monsters and common but not immidiately thought-of shapes. (octogon, pentagon, hearts)
Then there are six tertiarys and that screwed up my triage, so i just did white black and grey as the third set. (squiggles, rhombus, teardrops)
anyway, i think they turned out fairly well, and thought you guys might like to see them.
i might go back and do six little ones for the teritarys with the bottom of the barrel monsters and minions ( igor, phantom of the opera, hunchback, renfeild, etc)
