I was really into House and early Techno when I lived in Detroit in the late 80s early 90s. Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Derrick May (The Belleville Three) and DJ Carl Craig use to spin at underground clubs like The Majestic Theatre and The Warehouse and my friend Marc's house parties on Trumbull.
I guess that's technically Electronic music, no?
