I knew a record collector years ago had like 50,000 billion rare-assed jazz records and shit. so many it was impossible for him to listen to them all, ever, it would take a thousand years. when he hit 60 years old he decided to sell the 'treasure'.
years of poor storage rendered 98% of the collection ruined. warped, mildewed etc.
it destroyed him.
