Well, 3rd Bass weren't the first whiteboys to do it. Cactus Album came out in 89 i believe. Beastie's released licensed to ill in '86, and The White Boys - On a Mission was released in '88 - T-Ray from Soul Assassins first group. I'm not sure who came next, but in the early nineties there was an influx of white rappers on majors - Everlast released his first record in '90, Tony D in '91, Boy White, Surf MC's, Tairrie B, Young Black Teenagers, Jesse Jaymes, Blood of Abraham, The Whooliganz. Most of them got no props other than Beasties, 3rd Bass, and maybe Tony D. And for good reason, the rest were laughable. Okay, maybe YBT had some decent tracks, but that's about it. (You probably are asking how the hell I know this....I used to be a complete head when I was younger)

Nowadays I'm not as into Hip Hop as much as I used to be, so I'm not as knowledgeable on the current state as I used to be. It's gotten TOO saturated...back then you could keep track of who was coming out by checking out the record stores. OF course you had to gamble by buying it and most of the time it was crap.

But nowadays, as far as white dudes go and what hasn't been mentioned....I like Jedi Mind Tricks as well...oh, and R.A. the Rugged Man is the shit. I think Cage's last album was real nice too.

And in general, my favorite rap record right now is Pacewon's "Won". Even though it's 6 years old.

And if anyone hasn't heard Necro's "I need Drugs", listen to it....funny as hell.
