jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   he was the most lunchbox ethic bballer of the time...not a star but did everything you would want a player to do, and hit open jump shots.   2004-10-25 11:11:48
bdixSend bdix a message :   I met Rolando Blackman at the Galleria when the Knicks were playing the Rockets in the finals. No one knew who he was. He was my favorite Mav back in the day.   2004-10-25 11:10:39
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   i saw tim hardaway at the mall in houston...mavs were playing the rockets...he is short.   2004-10-25 11:07:43

Cody PomeroySend Cody Pomeroy a message :   yeah, I thought that slayer poster was huge until i saw this. This one takes it.   2003-02-10 19:03:58
stinkbaitSend stinkbait a message :   40 x 26 jackhole... still have the back spasams to prove it. This, Built to Spill and Social Distortion are all in the 40" range...Slayer is pretty damn big too...   2003-02-10 18:48:38
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   I believe this is our largest print to date...no sure of the exact porportions..but i thinks its over 40" on the long side. We had to borrow large screens from Satch just to print it...then we had to borrow his printing skills. Amon Tobin liked it alot as did the other artists.   2003-02-10 09:59:24
Cody PomeroySend Cody Pomeroy a message :   got this one too..this is going in a frame on my bedroom wall where I can stare at it and have nice dreams about Bricolage.   2003-02-10 09:34:22

  2003-01-31 14:00:31
uncle charlieSend uncle charlie a message :   stink, I'm trying to educate the poor boy about print production, but he just won't listen.. he keeps talkin about Noam Chomski and how he wants to convert to the Log Cabin Republican party   2002-12-18 12:58:06
stinkbaitSend stinkbait a message :   Plastk, I'll crit you too . TOO FUCKING HARD TO PRINT. only complaint...   2002-12-18 12:47:37
Cody PomeroySend Cody Pomeroy a message :   I felt a bit let down by the show, it was cool to see Amon Tobin and all but I kinda expoected Amon Tobin, not "DJ Tobin". Mr Scruff was pretty good though. This poster is still great however, and if I had 40 dollars I would have this bugger on my wall. Great poster.   2002-12-14 23:25:18
alPSend alP a message :   yes...yes. one of a kind.   2002-12-14 23:24:54
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   Satch made this happen...I still have a signed print for him...he is a skilled ink ninja for sure.   2002-12-14 23:22:27
alPSend alP a message :   oh yeah...did Satch help with this...if i was a cartoon i would love to skate this thing man...i'll check it out. i missed the convo about it.   2002-12-14 23:21:13
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   Al - Here it is. It was a bitch to print so there was only 25 made...I think there are like 3 or 4 left.   2002-12-14 23:15:58
standardSend standard a message :   I have a bunch of stock music discs for work... I hear those songs all the time on Comedy Central and like, Food Network spots.   2002-10-17 16:11:26
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   man that is a trip...and I did not do the work...would have been happ to though. I am a motion graphics fan/artist and there is a lot of similar taste in the field...BBC splashes, Travel channel splashes, TLC splashes are all very flash motion graphics style - notice alot of break beat drum and bass is used too on these short spots, because similar minded folks are creating commercials and the splashes.   2002-10-17 16:02:56
HYNESSend HYNES a message :   plastk, you should take a look at the fox thing, they have a small animated one on their logo here. http://www.fox.com/home.htm On the tv theres a lot more to it and is closer to these posters. The correlation I was wondering about was if perhaps you had created it for fox. The similarity is kind of uncanny, albeit blue.   2002-10-17 15:19:11
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   Hynes - no corellation whatsoever, don't watch fox so I would not know. Amon Tobin was the inspiration...jazz meets drum and bass that moves sporadically creating a form.
Also was trying to create an abstract representation of grafiti as well while using only one color with differing tones defining its space. It was thought of while talking with Pedini and Satch over beer at the Crown.
Glad some of you like it - can't wait to see Amon Tobin, one of my favorites. This poster is for Ninja Tune and not for a particular promoter or venue.

standardSend standard a message :   you nailed that. totally invasive little animated thing. i'm sick of crap all over the bottom of the screen. logos, clocks, news crawls... i want to tape a piece of cardboard over the bottom 2 inches of my screen. i'll only take it off for subtitled kung fu.
but this is a neato poster, i swear.
  2002-10-15 13:17:57
HYNESSend HYNES a message :   These remind me a lot of the device FOX is currently using to advertise tv show times. Any corellation?   2002-10-15 13:12:09
