hey, i really like this illustration. i kind of wish that the type was integrated into the design a bit more, but maybe the fact that you had 5 to do/are drunk had something to do with it, hehe. i love the raw look of the sketch, but this would've looked kick ass in colour! probably time/money/promoter restrictions though...but yeah, i would love to see more of your designs in general in colour. your new bomb turks poster really kicks ass. clearly you've got a great style with the black and white here, but every once in awhile, the colour ones would really stand out! anywho, i really like it, and think that the concept really fits with the sadies (not just the cowboy hat!).
yeah, andrew wk/danko jones were real good.

the show was great, check out the forum, just posted something about it. I was supposed to go to some Sexareenos party after the show, but we took the wrong adress. Man, you cant believe how pissed i am( and how drunk).

yes, el negro, it is a raw scketch. by the way, its always greatly apreciated the comments you post on my stuff. that's a drawing i had up on my website, and, since i had like 5 poster to do on that day, i used that drawing. Just came back from the Danko jones/ Andrew wk show, im really drunk, but i still had to check out this dang addictive website.

Cool. I dig the Sadies...the first time I saw 'em, though, I kept nodding off during their set. I was working a night job at the time. That sucked. I'm gonna have to see 'em the next time they come through. Is this the raw sketch, Johnny? I like it!
