mbarn: all that was said was i happen to like this style for their portraits BETTER, not that the packaging was any less worthy of admiration...yikes o mighty man. i especially love the type in watercolor on the new packaging too. sorry if those simple opinions were misconstrued, dude.

Mike Carney did the artwork...he's designed all of the albums. I've seen the CD and the Vinyl for Attack and Release and the both are sweet. The execution is great.

This poster is cool, but sorry Get A Clue I think the album artwork is pretty cool and fits the band great. I think the designer who did the album artwork has a pretty strong knowledge of The Black Keys.
