While I am often douchey, I'm not normally a shit-starter. I just feel that, regardless of the "cleverness" of the reference, the comment was just mean for the sake of mean. Alot of comments on this site are that way, but hey, its a free forum to say whatever, right?
You are right to take the high road and end the discussion--it is pretty much a completely ridiculous topic to go on about (and I am sure it has probably been covered a million times around here).
I don't know who said it, but it is wise: "Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics--in the end, you're still retarded."
i thought the quote was funny but...... without understanding the context could easily be taken as a harsh slam. in all probability ms sanchez wasn't even born when lloyd benson said it.
.....it does kinda look like grealish.
Hey, foolio - I think that a) your comment was at LEAST as douchey as mine, but without the benefit of being funny or referential, and b) I could care less about rips and calling anyone out. Yes, this looks vaguely Tara-esque but WTF do I care?
In any case, you're acting like those dudes who stand around at shows, arms crossed, just WAITING for a fight to get involved in. You have the right to do that. But I happen to think it blows.
Anyhow, given some other things that have happened with other posters and other people lately, and out of respect for Clay, I'm considering this conversation dropped.
I hate that we live in a society where saying things with words is a worse crime than people committing actual faults. The whole 'why do you hate freedom' polarizing bullshit!
We don't live in that society. People can say whatever they want. And I (or you, or anyone else) have the right to respond to what people say. And then other people can, in turn, respond to that.
Its called freedom (in terrible GWB accent).
"I know Tara. And you, ma'am, are no Tara."
What a douche-bag thing to say. I hope it made you feel good.

A cybernetic great white couldn't bite harder on a style.
I had been thinking all that was a bit harsh.
Color scheme & frame are maybe just Tara-y enough to be a respectful nod. But nothing about this is a rip, and the artist's other posters show no pattern of imitation.
So chill.
