FAO Dustin ,He auditioned as drummer for a european tour . he went up to a barn out in the stcks and they just blew him outta the water with the volume , hadda be in the 70's . Wonder if Seabury knows him his name is Dan . Think they were at that Summer of Love fest this year in Golden Gate Park too
they sounded good, played for about an hour and half and the crowd seemed to like it, but i would have to rethink things if i'm playing to 100 people in okc in my 60s. i'm not sure i would want to live like that if i were in my 20s.
Hmmm... I just finished my blue cheer poster. THey seemed pretty good when I saw them in Chicago. When Dickie played the parkside two years ago it was basically just a lot of blues stuff, not really my thing.
Dickie has no voice anymore, at all, which sadly kinda kills the whole thing. Playing is OK but the whole band is just pretty sozzled at this point. The other two guys aren't orig. members. It's kind of like seeing a Blue Cheer cover band with some moderately entertaining, rambling stage banter between songs.
Whatever. Last I checked Vincebus Eruptum still rules.
