levay started life as a carney barker. he ran his "church" as a sideshow dragging in the rubes. that's why he made so many celebrity people "members" of his church honorarily. he would get his photo with them and use it to promote himself and make more money off the rubes. they would think he was cool. sometimes the 'celebrities" actually believed his con and thought they were satanists. so silly, so rich.
he was a great man. a great american man. i miss him.
