Hero Design Studio
woah! thats amazing.
I am. I just pulled something weird from between my toes.
Dirk has been the arbiter of schmutz for quite a while now. There are not that many schmutz authorities out there.
IDIOT!! That's so stupid! What a dumb comment!!
You.. you.. you remember when you made that other poster with the record... That was awesome!
dirk so crazy. that photo is excellent.
Dirk totally craaaazy!
Iron Canvas Studios
holy shit crazy record press madness
Ink Eye Studios
Yep, actual 45s. Watch out, I'm craaaaaazy!
Ink Eye Studios
That is cool.
wait, you printed using the actual 45's? that is kickass.
Nice use of Dirkness
Yeah, I was a little nervous about how they would print too, but they turned out OK. I've printed using records before. It is kind of fun. The 45s I used were by Chubby Checker and Johnny Rivers.
I was thinking they would just get so muddy after a while, would wouldn't be able to read it as a record.
"varying degrees of schmutz" = Dirkness.
I suppose you could clean and re-ink if you wanted them to be consistent and full coverage. These are pretty individual and with varying degrees of schmutz. The record holds ink pretty well.
how does a record hold ink at all. I would think you would have to keep rebryering, cleaning then inking again.
Dirk is best.
i love dirk fowler.
sweet! we gotta talk letterpress... I got a SP 20 and a shit ton of type.
Hey Mikey, they are real. Touch 'em... http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/3896/spoonplatewj6.jpg
