Actually Dave computers can be really helpful with posters, especially obviously text, and coloring. And once you get a good grasp of the programs you can do some amazing shit...I.e Jeff Wood from drowning Creek, Scrojo, Darren GHrealish...etc...etc...They seem to be slowly killing the "traditional" artist though. I know I don't draw nearly as much as I used to, but I think like a pen or paintbrush the computer is a tool and should mnot be overlooked by an artist because he/she considers it "untraditional"

I've a a job waiting tables. Very flexible. But I scrape by every month, while getting deeper into debt. Plus I play in two bands. At this point I'm wondering if I have the time to learn how to use a computer to create posters, or anything! I'm old fashioned.

I'd love to spend more of time drawing by hand, but it takes me a long time, and I'm trying to do the 9 to 5 thing and do posters for shows plus build a portfolio, so I DO get alot done with the computer and I still do draw by hand but not nearly as much as I would like. I know they're lame excuses, evryone got jobs and things to do, I should draw more. Computers are evil.
