i love hand 'die-cutting' the first time I tried it was sophomore year for a comedian coming to the school...it was an exclamation point... i heard he was anythign but exciting after the fact...
the wood texture lines make this one awesome....such a good idea instead of filling it with a solid
obviously, he hiked out into the backcountry, found a barn, picked a board, pried it loose, humped it into town,carved of a piece and hand rubbed each poster on the actual inked wood.
any other method would be fraudulent.
this is from about 95. it's a die-cut (photographed against a black background). the 'die-cut' was done with a pair of scissors. mr. big budget hi-tech strikes again.
