i think it's funny! charlie brown is enough of a cultural icon that using him works. it's like using mickey mouse , ronald mcdonald or hello kitty.

new york i think...
dont want to start one of those patented gp.com fights about flyers...i admit i did feel kind of wierd using an appropriated image on this as i dont do it much and Schulz is a hero of mine, but I dont think anyone is not going to know its Charlie Brown and confuse it for an original creation...its for a punk show, 50 photocopies, and i thought it would be pretty hard to ignore a real rough halftoned charlie brown saying "child abuse"
...or maybe you think its lame just cos you dont liek the layout or whatever, which is fine, etc
