was just thinking about this again and think it illustrates a good point ( beyond just mr lonon ).
the quickest and easiest way to improve as and artist/designer is to learn how to take crits. plain and simple. i can't over-emphisize the importance of putting your ego on hold and actually absorbing someone else's input. we literally have THOUSANDS of years of experience floating around this place. not every crit is going to be correct and some will be intentionally insulting...... but even those deserve consideration if you want your art to advance.
jason* you've got a really good eye for the vintage rockabilly style but..... ease up on the defensiveness. of the 7 people that originally commented on this:
5 said, mildly, that it's an over used image ( which it is in the gigposter world ).
1 said it was adequate.
1 said they liked it.
