I like the type and font choice and knowing the firefly folks an after thought is probably not what happened...probably closer to their taste...and taste is definately subjective.

personally, i just can't get into the type selection on this piece. i love the ambiguity of the diseased worms/pubic hairs, and i am sure this works on many more levels in person, but the type seems like an afterthought.

yeah sure, if that were the case then there would be good type work on all the posters on this site...as it is maybe 2-5% have even half way decent type and layout.

Reminds me of a kid in one of my Structural Drawing classes who wrapped a project and a lone pubic hair got trapped under the acetate. When it was returned the pube was circled in red marker and he was given an F.

It's hard to tell what they are on the original. Some of the weird angular variation like up slightly in the left hand corner and down by the Corrina Repp right side looks like scotch tape.
Of all the stuff Firefly sent me this may be the only one that's not letterpressed but I think the text actually is, just hit real light.
They are badass beyond words.
