Hey Boadicea, just thought Id let you know, theres alot of silkscreen artists here in Aus. Not everyone relies on offset. Frumpy do about 98% silkscreen. Eva does all silkscreen, not every artist from Aus is represented here.. wasnt Martin a New Zealander? :-) |

Hey Boadicea you should get your facts straight before you pontificate as you obviously know nothing about OZ.
Ashtray. Intoxica. Mr Frumpy. Devils Candy. Pav.. Ben Brown. & lots of others put out silkscreens. All BTP posters are firstly hand drawn then coloured on computer.
Silkscreen V Offset...Why the anal fixation? it's all ink on paper. If you want to achieve a heavily inked look just pass it thru several times.
As far as being behind the times..what does that mean?? Last time I looked Australia had great Free Hospitals-Schools-public transport-live music venues-cafes-bars-parks-beaches & poster artists who are second to none. Have you ever been to OZ ?? Have you ever been outside the US in your entire life....
