"Great work Jeff and great print job. You inspire us all."
Jeff doesn't print posters, he's got a bunch of monkeys in parachute pants over at patent pending that handle that.
The poster was free with a purchase of a Shins item (a CD, record, or shirt) and they were all signed by the band as well. I love Easy Street. Best store in the Northwest. The white/silver coming out of the eyes has a nice sheen to it as well. Great work Jeff and great print job. You inspire us all.
Thanks Connie, and everyone. It's for an in-store performance, as I said, and will only be available at the show (maybe even for free!). Sub Pop, my employer, asked me to design it for that show. It is for this reason that I can't sell it, and why it is not listed under Patent Pending as the designer, and why it will not go up on our site. I'm sad too.
The Shins are AWESOME to work with, and super sweet guys.
"are the shins being difficult?"
Not with us. We will be doing posters for Austin, Nashville, NYC, and Boston. Merch posters only.
Get 'em at their table and after the show dates from us.
Super cool poster BTW Jeff!
Thanks, y'all. It means a lot.
5 colors. 17 x 24, Printed by THEE Patent Pending. Not for sale; get one at the in-store in Seattle. Should be a good one.
Yeah, beautiful.
From the little thumbnail I was going to get all up in someone's mix about how this is obviously an homage to Kleinsmith.
Uh, but then I saw who did it. I've been doing that a lot lately.
