i actually opened this poster to add the comment "this poster is going to gather alot of undeserved jay-ryan-esque comments".
this doesnt look anything like jay ryan.

this is good. i have to say, i still see "jay ryan" when i see this, like your other poster, but not quite as much. the colors mostly, which is kind of crazy if you think about it. i mean, that someone can see 2 or 3 colors together and automatically relate them to one artist. i think you've made the text your own, and it looks nice. you're obviously talented. maybe find another couple artists that are really different and draw inspiration from them as well? it's tough, but there are obviously a lot of ignorant people who are going to call you a hack if they see a single dirty pencil stroke.
