Hey, thanks for the kind words! Very much appreciated! The Fillmore "F" btw is on the end of the matchstick, opposite the head...unfortunately, you can't see too much detail at this size.

the printer the fillmore uses probably runs these off a standard 6-color jobber so doing a spot varnish as an addtional plate probably isn't a big deal. They might be going with an aqeuous finish on the coated sheets anyway.
well, yeah... but you could simulate that pretty easily with a red half-tone over yeller.
I was just shocked that the fillmore would spring for spot varnish on an off-set piece.
that split fountain would not be possible if it were screened. Not that the digital necessarily would reflect how it would actually come out. Just sayin'.
