Thanks. I found out I misspelled the misspelling of the abbreviation of monsieur in my previous posts. The correct misspelling is Mssr., the correct spelling is just plain old M. I really need to take some French classes and connect better with my heritage. My dad will be the first generation of his mother's family not to babble in French when he goes senile.
Msr. Goat,
Regarding mesh count, that is Mr. Horvath's realm at D&L. The main thing I pushed him on in this one and the last one was registration as there are a lot of areas that are barely trapped (2 pixel trap on some stuff, no trap at all on the exhaust).
For both I essentially turned the silver and copper metallic layers into giant reg marks by having them fit perfectly in each other. He said that helped a lot more than the reg marks (I even stepped those so there were fresh copper reg marks he could line up the dark brown with as opposed to copper reg marks printed on top of silver reg marks).
As Slater can testify I spent an assload of time on this (although still not as much as I did on the Dec 30th one)
Just read the comments below. My previous comment was stating the size of this poster. However, Msr. Monkey is correct in that most Raconteurs posters are 20X26. This one and it's predecessor are the largest ones I've made for the series. Trying to go out with a bang I guess.
