Art, yer right...I just looked. Under the picture he's got your name listed as a search word. Guess he hopes people looking for your stuff will like it and want to buy it.
it's definitely not a gigposter, but that seems to be ok here occaisionally.
if you type in 'art chantry' (and click the little expanded search box) on ebay, this poster pops up for sale. does that mean even computers think i did it?
I agree on all counts. Very Chantry influenced. I also like it. And xeroxed, scanned, or at least hand distressed type would have taken it one step farther in my opinion.
On closer inspection I don't think this is a gig poster? It looks to be a poster for a radio show. or does that count?
I'm likin' it...of course, put an ass and a nice pair of legs in it and I'll like it!
Actually the rest of it's cool too.
"Music for your legs, and what's between them."
Very cool piece - hits the mark by evoking both cool rod culture and by style-checking both vintage posters and vintage chantry school work. Where can I get mine?
yes. very chantry. and it's been done, done, done. BUT, i like it a lot!! well executed. good type.
mark's got three amazingly different pieces here. and they are all cool.
