Official Australian Pearl Jam 2006 tour poster from Beyond The Pale Posters Australia. Art by the genius of Ken Taylor. Ken is one of four local artists who worked on the poster series. Image of sugar cane field during a burn off. We were asked by Pearl jam to reference Australia in the 2006 tour poster series. This gig was in Queensland where sugar cane is grown. For some reason the fire itself doesn't grab me but the reflection of the fire on the blues and black of the birds and grass is awesome - really wonderful use of colors! And the moon's pretty cool too.
