I don't have the chance of know him personally but I see the show and was fantastic. He was great and i find him very close to the audience. In reference to my poster was only a work that I do to the concert promoter
and I don't understand anything too,
what's fuckin' happen
hu hu
I got asked to do a Dick Dale poster and my requirements (post-sales) were not up to par with Mr. Dale's management.
I don't blame him at all and I appreciate the honesty. But Mr Dale's management should come to grips with the spirit of poster art in the first place.
Poster art...60's.....rebellion....ya know...
Are "they" truly representing Mr. Dale's heritage and spirit by pulling bullshit corporate rules for a surf guitar legend? Fuck no.
Either Dale has gone corporate and sold his soul to management...or, he's too old to speak for himself.
Or god forbid, he became an old shit, said "FUCK YOU!" to everybody and is taking the money and runnin!
Where's the rebellion that made Dick Dale's money in the 1st place?
He's a product now...not a guitar player...or am I wrong? WTF???
I donīt understand anything boys but thank you all, I want to remember Dick Dale like one of the big one's (with Link Wray was too late for me), because of it iīm proud of this work
I tried to do a Dick Dale poster once and their management politely told me to F myself. Then proceeded to list a LONG list of items that posters MUST have inorder for them to even CONSIDER using it.
