I made this look like a test print on purpose at the last minute. Originaly it was supposed to be the beast from the Cobra album cover, standing on a cliff and shit, crazy background, in that Anime blast thing behind the beast is a repeated line from a song. BUT at the last minute while i was trying to figure out what i wanted to do colorwise I got this idea to make it a test print cuz Brad the bass player from Iceage Cobra is in love with test prints, he traded me his Illinois drivers license and cash for a band of horses test print and he's always bugging me to see more. So i took out one of the background layers and i took the top line art layer and did it as the third layer upside down in gold, cuz i liek looking at test prints at D&L with colors overprinting the metallic.
So yeah, then i tilted things a little so they wouldn't actually line up perfect. Gave it to Steve and he said "Uh. . .we're just gonna throw it together" which is exactly what i was looking for.
And I used the whole sheet, uncut so they're the full 26" by 36".
I didn't know if people would get it, but they sold pretty well at the shows. Maybe the kids just dig the size i don't know.
