In my opinion, nothing can touch all that old MGM stuff. Chuck Jones is a god, but I just loved what Tex Avery and Hanna & Barbera were doing. Best violent gags EVER.

Casper and Hot stuff just couldn't compete with Bugs and Foghorn leghorn to me. I'm a Warner freak to the bone. nothing (in my opinion as an animator) can compete with the 40's Warner stuff.

These guys were a mid to late-90's quasi-indie band(Handsome Boy was distributed by BMG out here). They had regular rotation hits on Muchmusic with "Wake Me Up" and another track(can't remember the name right now)that had a vid directed by reluctant gay porn director Bruce LaBruce. Sort of "post-grunge". I can't believe I said that. Non-threatening...kinda catchy.
