I forgot about the weird shitstorm that happened with this poster. I just saw a Facebook event poster (the new MySpace poster) that ripped this image off/modified it/whatever. There's a bottle of beer in his hand instead of the bone. Plus, I had totally forgotten that Emek did this. That TinEye plug-in really works!

He Emek... stop acting like your feelings got hurt. I don't buy your ART because its just something I never focused on... my collection was always about completing Koziks work and some other stuff like Jay Ryan.
At the same time though I always thought (and still think so today) that your ART is pretty much on top of the heap and insanely good. And I have said that in basically those terms many many times over, either here on gigposters or during discussions with fellow poster people.
Yes, you give out variants which is great but the fact remains that these are variants of a poster that is sold as 'signed edition of 'x/200' ... I think its bullshit if there is no advance public discourse of the full print run.
A variant here and there is fine but ever since the first PNE QOTSA series I have gotten very wary about the 'creative' new editions that are coming out. (remember, I do buy some of your art from time to time... however few that might be in relation to my other purchases over the years)

Why would someone be tired of variants? If you don't like them then don't purchase them, and instead refocus your energy toward remembering the joys of poster collecting.
