you could spend weeks (sorry to butt in) you could spend weeks on a poster but if you're a lousy artist its gonna be a lousy poster. emek does some very cool shit,his ideas are innovative and his colouring is fantastic,however i think his lettering lets him down slightly,its kinda flimsy i think. but thats my opinion; i don't think emek blows everyone out of the water either, his ideas - great,his lettering- not so great, a good boxer with one hand won't win the championship,not that its a race/fight etc

i've spent weeks working on stuff that looks like it took 30 seconds to do. i've also spent 30 seconds on something that looks like it took weeks. i commend emek for his fine illustrations and not using the stained glass window approach to coloring.

How do you know how much time people put into their work?
Sometimes the simplest of designs or illustrations take a loooong time.
Boiling something down to a simple form is just as hard, sometimes harder than showing every detail...
Just my opinion as well.
