i've yet to hear hank3 but i hear his show is amazing. it's basically 2 shows in one. he first comes out and does a complete set that would make his grandpappy proad , and appeases all you came to see the legacy, then he announces he's taking a break and will come back to do another set of 'the hard stuff' (haven't heard it but some have compared it to 'ministry'). the guy sounds like a class act to me.

Shelton (Hank III) actually loves being lumped in with his granddad and plays two things - country and metal. Looking at the poster, I'd never guess that was the case. It's not a bad poster at all, and I'm not someone who necessarily believes the artwork has to be representative of the band directly, but it should at least represent the feel of the music. I look at this poster and think jazz or vocal easy listening or chamber orchestra.

Hank seems to have an aversion to being lumped in with his daddy and granddaddy. So I tried to give it a slightly modern feel with a typeface that only vaguely reminds me of an older look. It actually looks even better when printed on brown craft paper but I couldn't get that feel on the gif. The bottom line is that I like it and that's all that really counts.
